Melissa's Voice Studio

A Southern California native, Melissa has worked extensively in concerts and musical theatre throughout California. She is the singing voice of Barbie for numerous films, toys, and albums, including the animated features “Barbie as the Island Princess,” “Barbie and the Diamond Castle,” and “Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper.” Her other credits include: Eponine in LES MISERABLES (Broadway National Tour); Principal soloist for California Philharmonic (Walt Disney Concert Hall); CHICAGO at the Hollywood Bowl (director Brooke Shields). 

Melissa has a private voice studio in Orange County, where she has been teaching for 15 years. Her high school students have continued on to major university arts programs in music and theatre, including University of Michigan, NYU, UCLA, USC, UCSD, UCSB, UCBerkeley, Boston Conservatory, Roosevelt University, Chapman University,  Pepperdine University, University of Utah, St. Mary's College, University of Northern Colorado, Biola University, CSULB, and CSUF. In addition to her private studio, Melissa is an adjunct professor of voice and theatre in the Musical Theatre department at Fullerton College. Melissa also teaches in the Summer Voice Intensive in the Music Department at UCLA every summer!  

Melissa holds an M.M. in Voice Performance from CSULB and a B.A. in Music (Voice Performance) from UCLA. She is a proud member of Music Teacher's Association of California, Actors' Equity Association, SAG/AFTRA, and Musical Theatre Guild in Los Angeles.
